Occupational Health Nurse – Cairo

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nurse to join our Cairo team. The role focuses on delivering preventive, curative and promotive health services to employees, supporting well‑being in a dynamic workplace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Health Physician with pre‑employment and periodic medical examinations.
• Conduct and record occupational health tests such as audiometry, lung function, spirometry, skin prick and vision testing.
• Develop and deliver health‑related training, first‑aid, basic life support (AED), industrial hygiene and safe‑food‑handling sessions.
• Implement vaccination programs and manage employee vaccination records.
• Coordinate health diagnostic campaigns, ergonomic assessments and monthly workplace inspections.
• Participate in mock‑drill and rescue‑drill exercises and ensure emergency medical plans are in place.
• Review medical cases with extended sickness absence and liaise with managers for appropriate referrals.
• Schedule and perform health surveillance for employees exposed to specific hazards.
• Provide medical advice for business travel and post‑exposure prophylaxis.
• Maintain records of respirator medical clearances and support rehabilitation and return‑to‑work programs.

Required profile

• Qualified and compassionate nurse with experience in occupational health.
• Ability to work collaboratively with HS&E, HR and management teams.
• Strong communication skills for employee awareness and training.
• Capability to manage health surveillance and vaccination programs.
