OCI Security Architect

About the role

You will join Accenture's Oracle Security Delivery team as a senior OCI security specialist, working across live Oracle Cloud Security programs for enterprise clients in the region. This deep‑technical role involves architecting and implementing end‑to‑end security across OCI environments, from landing‑zone design to encryption, identity, network controls and continuous compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test and deploy OCI native security controls such as Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Security Advisors and Threat Intelligence.
• Define and enforce Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) practices, including baseline assessments, drift detection, CIS OCI Benchmark alignment and continuous compliance reporting.
• Integrate Cloud Guard with SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk) via OCI Streaming and Events.
• Architect and implement OCI Key Management Service (KMS) covering master keys, data encryption keys, rotation, versioning and lifecycle across storage, databases and SaaS data.
• Design and deploy OCI Hardware Security Module (HSM) for FIPS‑140‑2 Level 3 compliant environments, including provisioning and integration.
• Configure OCI Vault for centralized secrets management with automated rotation, versioning and audit trails.
• Design and implement OCI IAM controls, including Identity Domains, compartment structures, policies and dynamic groups.
• Implement OCI Security Zone policies to enforce mandatory guardrails.
• Architect OCI network security, including VCN design, security lists, network security groups, OCI Firewall and hub‑and‑spoke topology.
• Configure OCI Web Application Firewall (WAF) and API Gateway security with custom rules, bot management, JWT and OAuth 2.0 authentication.

Required profile

• Minimum 72 months (6 years) of hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure security.
• Proven experience designing and operating OCI landing zones, KMS/HSM, Vault and IAM at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of CSPM, threat detection and compliance frameworks (CIS OCI Benchmark).
• Experience integrating OCI security services with SIEM and monitoring tools.
