Operations Officer – Banking Operations

About the role

The Operations Officer will support the bank’s Operations Division by processing transactional requests, handling customer inquiries and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This entry‑level position offers exposure to core banking processes and a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage operational transactions and customer requests within defined service levels.
• Review applications, instructions and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of operational activities.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer data in the bank’s systems.
• Adhere to AML, KYC, compliance, risk management and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare operational reports, records and documentation for management and regulators.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews and internal control activities by providing required information.
• Protect confidentiality, data integrity and security of customer and bank information.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• Strong communication, detail‑orientation and accuracy.
• Self‑starter, proactive, fast learner with good multitasking abilities.
• Effective teamwork and time‑management skills.
