Oracle APEX Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Full-Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain mission‑critical applications on the Oracle platform. In this hands‑on position you will own solutions from the user interface down to the database layer, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build Oracle APEX applications, including pages, components, interactive reports, forms, and responsive UIs.
• Develop, review, and maintain PL/SQL code such as packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Design relational schemas, author DDL, and implement partitioning strategies for large datasets.
• Create and secure REST APIs using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) with proper authentication and authorization.
• Optimize SQL and PL/SQL performance by analyzing execution plans, indexing, and partitioning.
• Perform database administration tasks across development, test, and production environments.
• Diagnose and resolve Oracle errors (ORA‑NNNNN) and interpret performance diagnostics from AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and operations engineers to deliver well‑documented, supportable solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as an Oracle developer, database engineer, or equivalent full‑stack Oracle role.
• Expert‑level PL/SQL development skills, including bulk processing.
• Strong SQL expertise with proven query‑optimization experience.
• Hands‑on experience building Oracle APEX applications.
• Experience designing relational schemas and writing production DDL.
• Proven ability to build and secure REST endpoints with ORDS.
• Practical database administration experience and error‑diagnosis skills.
