Patient Support Program Coordinator

About the role

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting and managing Patient Support Programs, ensuring that patients receive timely, compassionate, and professional assistance throughout their treatment journey. The coordinator acts as a trusted advocate, removing barriers to care and expanding access so patients can maximize the medical benefits and support they deserve.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the line manager and program team in managing Patient Support Programs by liaising with key stakeholders.
• Ensure timely enrolment of eligible patients according to workflow and program timelines.
• Educate and coordinate with patients to facilitate seamless enrollment.
• Maintain accurate patient files and prepare them for timely submission.
• Accompany team members on visits to healthcare providers, pharmacies, or support sites.
• Ensure patients receive their medications efficiently and without delay.
• Prepare regular reports on program performance, patient numbers, services provided, and quality metrics.
• Maintain and update electronic records related to patient data and quality assurance.
• Complete required trainings, including product, pharmacovigilance, and Axios‑mandated sessions.
• Report adverse events or product complaints in line with client requirements and Axios SOPs.

Required profile

• A degree or diploma in a medical field or social work.
• 0–1 year of experience in healthcare, scientific field, or NGO.
• Experience in data monitoring and management (advantage).
• Experience coordinating logistics or supply chain (advantage).
• Experience in customer service management.
