Plant Controller

About the role

The Plant Controller will lead all financial control and accounting activities for a production plant, ensuring compliance with headquarters guidelines, group controlling standards, and local regulations. This position works closely with the Local Managing Director and reports functionally to the Group CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Audit day‑to‑day accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost and inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, planning, and alerting for potential deficiencies.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting, and comply with local tax and regulatory filing requirements.
• Coordinate budget preparation, financial forecasts, and variance reporting.
• Oversee financial statement preparation, certify accuracy, and act as liaison with external auditors.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve operational efficiencies.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes and resolve technical accounting issues.
• Monitor internal controls, evaluate financial risks, and develop plans for financial growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 5 + years (or up to 10 + years) of combined accounting and finance experience.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
