About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postal Delivery Driver in Alexandria, delivering letters and parcels to your local community on a rotating shift schedule. This part‑time, permanent position offers a dynamic, outdoor work environment with the chance to stay active and interact with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver mail by van and on foot across assigned routes.
• Build relationships with customers and represent the Royal Mail brand.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including weekends and Sundays.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) registered to your name and address.
• Physically fit for walking up to 12 miles and lifting 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Willingness to pass a driving assessment and drive a Royal Mail van daily.
