Pricing Analyst – North West Europe & Africa

About the role

Castrol is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support its North West Europe and Africa markets. You will work with cross‑functional teams—including sales, operations, marketing, finance and global business services—to drive the pricing agenda and improve commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own implementation and continuous optimisation of strategic pricing initiatives, deal governance frameworks, pricing rules and delegation of authority compliance.
• Act as a strategic advisor by translating complex pricing and market data into actionable recommendations that drive profitable growth.
• Identify pricing gaps, commercial risks and performance opportunities; define data‑driven initiatives with cross‑functional teams.
• Leverage advanced analytics, automation and AI‑enabled insights to spot trends, anomalies and optimisation opportunities.
• Challenge existing pricing practices, simplify processes and promote digitalisation and intelligent automation.
• Conduct deep‑dive post‑intervention analyses to evaluate pricing efficiency and refine strategies.
• Partner with Pricing Analysts across META & GBS to ensure high standards in pricing analytics, governance, master data integrity and reporting.
• Lead end‑to‑end price change management for automotive and industrial businesses, ensuring accurate and agile execution.
• Continuously improve pricing operations, including price change management, pricing templates, multi‑format price list management and profitability analysis.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in pricing or commercial analytics.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse functional teams.
• Proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities.
• Experience in managing complex pricing processes and governance.
