Process Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our production team in the cable manufacturing sector. The role focuses on optimizing routings, process times and machine performance to improve time, cost and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate routing and process times during the quotation stage and update processing databases.
• Track and highlight deviations, support the costing department and provide daily contract review reports.
• Collaborate with software engineers to enhance existing programs for faster data retrieval.
• Work closely with production to identify opportunities for speed increases or reductions in setup and stoppage times.
• Execute machine calibrations, compare actual outputs with specifications and report deviations.
• Study the impact of machine enhancements on speed and output.
• Participate in production trials for new products, approve new suppliers and update standard operating procedures.
• Maintain and revise sales standard lists, process data‑sheet updates and create SOPs for new equipment.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Industrial, Production, Mechanical or Electrical).
• 1‑3 years of experience in a related field.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Java, Oracle and ADVARIS.
• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to analyse mathematical equations and manipulate machine parameters.
• Experience in machine calibration and performance analysis.
