Procurement Officer – Flowers

About the role

Floward is looking for a Procurement Officer dedicated to flowers. You will be responsible for sourcing fresh blooms, ensuring their quality and timely delivery, and supporting the overall supply‑chain operations across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Procure fresh flowers according to business needs while maintaining quality, price and delivery standards.
• Negotiate with growers and suppliers to secure competitive and reliable supply terms.
• Raise purchase orders, track deliveries and keep procurement documentation audit‑ready.
• Collaborate with demand planners and fulfillment teams to forecast flower requirements and adjust procurement plans.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times and delivery accuracy to minimise spoilage and overstock.
• Report on procurement status, challenges and supplier performance to the Lead – Flower Procurement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 2–4 years of procurement experience, preferably with perishable goods such as flowers, agriculture or FMCG.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with procurement or inventory ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics or SAP).
