Quality Control Manager

About the role

The Quality Control Manager will lead the development and implementation of quality strategies across poultry operations. This role audits production processes, evaluates farm performance, and provides actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality strategies and processes to foster a strong quality culture.
• Conduct regular audits of poultry production processes and farm operations for SOP and quality standard compliance.
• Evaluate farm technical performance and prepare detailed reports with findings, root causes, and recommendations.
• Define quality targets, KPIs, and performance measures; monitor operational performance against standards.
• Identify process gaps, operational risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance production performance.
• Act as subject‑matter expert in quality management, providing guidance to managers and operational teams.
• Provide training and coaching on quality standards, SOP compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements for poultry operations.
• Lead, manage, and develop the Quality Control team, maintaining high professional standards.
• Manage departmental resources and budgets to ensure cost‑efficient operations.
• Collaborate with farm and operational teams to consistently implement and maintain quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in the poultry industry, preferably in senior technical, production, quality control, or auditing roles.
• Strong practical knowledge of poultry farm operations and production practices.
• Proven experience auditing poultry production processes and evaluating SOP compliance.
• Deep understanding of quality management systems, standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience developing quality KPIs, performance measures, audit reports, and improvement plans.
• Previous experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using reporting tools.
