Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Second Shift Production Supervisor leads the loading and unloading team in an industrial laundry environment, ensuring that all operations are performed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This full‑time role supports the plant’s production and service targets during the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of loading and unloading staff on the second shift.
• Allocate tasks and resources based on production volume and operational needs.
• Verify that units are loaded and unloaded safely and in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, performance and discipline of shift personnel.
• Maintain communication with supervisors of other shifts and departments to ensure continuity.
• Enforce occupational safety standards, conduct area inspections and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Complete production, incident, attendance reports and other required documentation.
• Investigate accidents, equipment damage or inventory losses and report findings.
• Train and orient new employees on operational and safety procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce cycle times and optimize resource use.

Required profile

• High school diploma; technical or university studies preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience supervising staff in manufacturing, warehouse or logistics.
• Ability to lead teams, make decisions under pressure and work second‑shift hours, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Basic computer skills for report preparation.
• Strong communication, organization and problem‑solving abilities.
