Project Supervisor – Construction

About the role

Aviagen is launching a new poultry operation in Saudi Arabia and needs a seasoned Project Supervisor to oversee on‑site construction activities. Reporting to the Project Manager and Director, you will act as the eyes and ears of the project team, ensuring work is carried out to design, quality, safety and schedule standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of contractors and subcontractors, verifying compliance with designs, specifications and contractual terms.
• Conduct routine site inspections and quality audits, document findings and follow up on corrective actions.
• Serve as the primary on‑site liaison between contractors, suppliers, consultants and the project management team.
• Track progress against the construction schedule, flagging delays, risks or deviations promptly.
• Support implementation of corrective actions related to schedule, quality, safety or cost performance.
• Assist in reviewing, verifying and accepting completed works and milestone achievements.
• Monitor design changes and ensure proper execution on site.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, photos and progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, permits and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience supervising construction projects, preferably in the poultry or agricultural sector.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
• Proactive problem‑solver with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they impact delivery.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
