Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will support Hikma’s commitment to delivering high‑quality medicines by ensuring compliance with safety, GMP and quality standards across production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular investigations to verify that workers follow safety procedures.
• Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with GMP and internal quality standards.
• Execute pre‑ and post‑production quality checks and generate related reports.
• Manage issuance and weighing of raw materials, approve material release, and ensure storage complies with regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor plant conditions (humidity, temperature, etc.) and verify machine conformity, including periodic maintenance.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a grade of Very Good or Excellent.
• Fresh graduate status.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Good understanding of QA processes and Agile development methodology.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Familiarity with quality audit procedures.
• Understanding of QA processes in pharmaceutical production.
• Basic grasp of Agile development principles.
