Quality Control Manager

About the role

Lychee, Egypt’s leading healthy F&B brand, is looking for a Quality Control Manager to lead In‑Process Control (IPC) across its Greek yogurt, fresh juice, pasteurised juice and central kitchen lines. The role ensures strict compliance with food safety standards and drives continuous improvement in product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality control and food safety systems in line with HACCP, ISO 22000 and GMP.
• Oversee all IPC activities during production for dairy and juice products.
• Conduct inspections, audits and sampling to verify product quality at each production stage.
• Manage microbiological, chemical and sensory testing in coordination with the laboratory team.
• Ensure raw materials, packaging and finished goods meet defined specifications.
• Investigate non‑conformities, customer complaints and product recalls.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for quality reports, test results and regulatory compliance.
• Train and mentor QC staff on hygiene practices and food safety requirements.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance and supply‑chain teams to prevent quality issues.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies during inspections and audits.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in cost control or quality management within the FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000 and food safety legislation.
• Experience in dairy and juice processing is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a QC team.
