Quantity Surveyor – Architecture Engineer

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor (QS) Architecture Engineer will support Rock Developments in delivering cost‑effective architectural solutions across construction projects. Working from design through to completion, the role ensures accurate cost estimation, tender preparation, and contract administration for architectural works.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take‑offs from architectural drawings and develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Estimate material, labour and subcontractor costs and produce cost forecasts.
• Monitor project budgets, track variations, and prepare monthly cost reports.
• Prepare tender documentation, evaluate supplier quotations and assist in procurement negotiations.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants and site engineers to verify executed quantities on‑site.
• Attend project meetings, support progress tracking and assist with interim payment certificates.
• Review subcontractor claims, invoices and ensure compliance with contract terms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably on fit‑out, finishing or building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage cost control and tendering processes.
