Quantity Surveyor Engineer – Real Estate Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor Engineer to join a leading real‑estate developer delivering innovative residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost documentation, managing tender processes and ensuring financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates and project budgets.
• Review tender documents, evaluate subcontractor quotations and manage the tendering process.
• Recommend award decisions and negotiate contracts, variations and supplier agreements.
• Administer contracts, process interim payments, variation orders and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Maintain accurate contractual and financial documentation.
• Coordinate with multiple contractors across development projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
• 5–7 years of Quantity Surveying experience, including at least 3 years on large‑scale real‑estate developments such as commercial malls and mixed‑use projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, tendering and contract administration.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings.
• Experience with cost estimation software such as Primavera or MS Project (plus).
