About the role
The Regional Sales Manager will lead revenue growth and market expansion for our medical device portfolio across the assigned region. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships with hospitals, distributors, and other healthcare institutions while guiding a high‑performing sales team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets for the territory.
- Lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of sales representatives and distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in both public and private healthcare sectors.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, hospital decision‑makers, and procurement departments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to manage risks and seize opportunities.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance to align operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage regional budgets, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 10‑15 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Extensive knowledge of medical device sales cycles and hospital procurement processes.
- Proven ability to manage distribution networks and direct sales channels.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, margin management, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
