Relationship Officer

About the role

The Relationship Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining profitable relationships with a portfolio of individual and SME clients. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, achieving sales targets, and delivering a high level of service in line with Crédit Agricole Egypt’s brand values.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new clients and meet defined revenue and portfolio growth targets.
• Manage a defined portfolio of customers, providing personalized service and ensuring loyalty.
• Coach, manage and develop relationship assistants and junior officers.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross‑sell bank products and services.
• Minimize customer attrition through proactive service and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
• Educate walk‑in customers on self‑service options and follow up with internal departments on pending cases.

Required profile

• Strong client‑focused mindset with a proven ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
