Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to lead maintenance and reliability initiatives for our mobile equipment fleet in Alexandria. The role focuses on implementing reliability‑centered maintenance, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring high equipment availability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM) strategies for mobile equipment.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and condition‑based maintenance programs.
• Analyze failure data using root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA and other reliability tools.
• Monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability and maintenance cost efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and lifecycle.
• Oversee CMMS implementation, ensure data accuracy and generate reports.
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers and supervisors.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and HSE teams to ensure seamless workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (Master’s a plus).
• 8–12 years of experience in maintenance and reliability, preferably with heavy/mobile equipment in construction or similar industries.
• Proven leadership experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CRL or CMRP are an advantage.
