Remote Biology Expert – $250 per Task (Short‑Term Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified biology specialist to create and solve challenging biology problems that will be used to evaluate large language models. This short‑term, task‑based contract is fully remote and offers $250 per completed task.

Key responsibilities

• Design rigorous biology problems covering topics from early undergraduate to PhD level.
• Develop step‑by‑step solutions with clear reasoning and annotations.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem sets with evaluation goals.
• Help define new benchmark datasets based on biology curricula.
• Explain complex concepts using simple language, visuals, or simulations when needed.
• Provide constructive feedback on AI evaluation workflows.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field (or currently pursuing a PhD/Post‑doc).
• Strong research, analytical, and logical problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written communication and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop or laptop.
• LinkedIn profile must be included in the résumé.
