Remote Design Structural Engineer (2-4 yrs experience)

About the role

DOTec Corp. is seeking a remote Design Structural Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for the analysis, design, and coordination of structural projects while ensuring compliance with U.S. codes and company quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, and other systems using U.S. design codes.
• Develop, review, and revise structural drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
• Create and verify structural models with industry‑standard software.
• Coordinate with senior engineers to resolve technical challenges.
• Review and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance.
• Apply value‑engineering principles to optimize solutions.
• Assist in planning and delivering project packages on schedule.
• Maintain organized documentation and follow internal quality‑control procedures.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a public university (Master’s a plus).
• FE Exam passed; PE licensure or progress toward licensure is a plus.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team.
