Rider Operations Coordinator

About the role

Talabat is seeking a Rider Operations Coordinator to oversee rider performance, compliance, and recruitment across designated zones. You will lead a team of Rider Coordinators and Captains, ensuring smooth daily operations and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve rider performance and compliance.
• Lead rider recruitment and manage onboarding schedules.
• Supervise a team of Rider Coordinators and Rider Captains.
• Allocate shifts, breaks, and off‑days to maintain optimal rider rosters.
• Oversee inventory management and equipment usage compliance.
• Maintain rider quality standards including behavior, appearance, and professionalism.
• Develop performance improvement plans for low‑performing riders.
• Reduce rider‑related customer complaints through coaching and corrective actions.
• Conduct on‑ground audits of fleet appearance and rider behavior.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2‑3 years experience in the food or grocery tech industry (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu; Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent public speaking, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Proven people‑management experience, preferably leading larger groups.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite tools: Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Forms.
