School Nurse

About the role

The Egypt Education Platform is seeking a qualified School Nurse to join the team at GEMS – The British School Al Rehab for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The role involves delivering first‑aid, medical care, and health promotion to students and staff in a dynamic school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first aid and basic medical care to students and staff.
• Assess and manage illnesses and injuries that occur during the school day.
• Maintain accurate medical records and student health files.
• Administer medications in line with school policies.
• Monitor students with chronic conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
• Promote health awareness and support a safe, healthy school environment.
• Communicate health information effectively with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and Ministry of Health regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Valid nursing license.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and calmness in emergencies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
