Security Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment at Rixos Premium Seagate, a luxury resort in Sharm El Sheikh. The role involves protecting guests, staff and property while supporting the hotel’s high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the hotel premises, ensuring safety and compliance with security procedures.
• Greet guests, provide information, manage vehicle traffic and control access using ID cards.
• Respond promptly to incidents such as fires, fights, sabotage or suspicious packages and report them to the Security Supervisor.
• Maintain and operate security equipment including walkie‑talkies, detectors and communication devices.
• Record all incidents, shift handovers and movements of furniture or equipment in accurate logs.
• Participate in the Emergency Response Team and follow bomb‑threat protocols.
• Keep the assigned area clean, orderly and ready for the next shift.

Required profile

• Ability to work day and night shifts with constant vigilance.
• Professional and courteous attitude toward guests, managers and colleagues.
• Familiarity with procedures for detaining individuals and handling security incidents.
• Strong observational and reporting skills.
