Senior Design Architect

About the role

ArchNova is seeking a Senior Design Architect to lead the design development of architectural projects from concept through schematic stages. You will work within a collaborative environment, guiding junior architects and ensuring that each design balances aesthetics, functionality, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design development of residential, commercial, and industrial projects from early concept to schematic design.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior architects to maintain creative and technical excellence.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, presentation packages, and design documentation.
• Collaborate with consultants, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to align project goals and deliverables.
• Manage project timelines, design quality, and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Participate in design reviews, workshops, and internal critiques to refine project outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture.
• 5‑7 years of relevant experience with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and coordinate multi‑disciplinary efforts.
• Deep understanding of local building codes, construction materials, and techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in 3Ds Max.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
