Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure & DevSecOps

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will join an agile squad to design, build and maintain end‑to‑end DevSecOps pipelines that support Mashreq’s digital and non‑digital initiatives. You will ensure reliable application delivery across all environments, from development to production, within an Azure cloud ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the implementation of DevSecOps pipelines for multiple digital squads.
• Orchestrate build, release and promotion processes for APIs, databases and containerised applications.
• Automate roll‑outs for non‑production and production environments, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Configure and maintain the container platform in Azure, guaranteeing high availability.
• Collaborate with Agile coaches, Scrum Masters and development teams to support continuous delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps engineer in an agile, squad‑based setting.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and cloud‑native deployment patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services and container orchestration.
• Ability to work independently while supporting cross‑functional teams.
