Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale our AWS cloud infrastructure. You will join a talented engineering team focused on delivering reliable, secure, and cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimise AWS infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Deploy and operate applications using Amazon EKS and AWS Lambda.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational tasks with Bash and Python.
• Manage Docker images, containerised workloads, and Kubernetes clusters.
• Monitor application health, logs, alerts, performance, and cloud costs.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and support deployment activities.
• Handle IAM, AWS Identity Center (SSO), secrets, and security best practices.
• Integrate development workflows with tools such as Bitbucket, Slack, and SonarQube.
• Maintain documentation and promote DevOps best practices across teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EKS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployments.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Good scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Security‑focused mindset with experience managing access, permissions, and secrets.
