Senior Finance Manager

About the role

Talabat is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead its regional accounting team. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the finance leadership in strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end closing, reconcile accounts payable, and ensure accuracy of trial balances.
• Oversee consolidation of monthly and year‑end financial statements and assist in preparing the annual report under IFRS.
• Prepare, review and publish accounts payable reports, invoices, and billing statements.
• Reconcile accounts receivable, generate financial statements, and produce age analysis and collection reports.
• Maintain general ledger, post journal entries, and ensure compliance with IFRS standards.
• Lead, coach and allocate work for the accounting team, monitor performance and produce visibility metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of finance/accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven time‑management and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Working knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
