Senior Internal Auditor – Group Level

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will lead audit engagements across multiple entities within the group, covering financial, operational and compliance areas. This role ensures internal controls are effective, risks are identified, and actionable recommendations are delivered to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial, operational and compliance audits in line with the annual audit plan and internal audit standards.
• Develop a deep understanding of business processes, controls, policies and regulatory requirements across group entities.
• Conduct risk‑based audit procedures, analyse evidence and assess control effectiveness.
• Identify findings, root causes and risks, and propose practical recommendations.
• Prepare clear audit reports and present results to management, following up on corrective actions.
• Supervise and mentor Internal Auditors to ensure consistent, high‑quality audit work.
• Review financial records, accounting and information systems for data integrity and compliance.
• Detect indicators of fraud, inefficiencies or non‑compliance and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with various departments to align audit objectives and findings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools and practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of internal audit experience, preferably in a multi‑entity environment.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA or CPA are preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• High integrity, attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics or Axapta.
