Senior Internal Control Accountant

About the role

The Senior Internal Control Accountant will ensure the reliability, accuracy, and transparency of financial reporting across multiple entities. You will work closely with internal teams and affiliate ICFR groups to strengthen control frameworks, conduct regular balance‑sheet health checks, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the review and assessment of financial policies, procedures, and accounting guidelines.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting control reports, highlight improvement areas, and monitor action‑plan implementation.
• Identify, define, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for accounting functions.
• Manage Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) processes, coordinate with affiliate ICFR teams, and resolve control discrepancies.
• Conduct regular balance‑sheet analyses, investigate significant variances, and propose risk‑mitigation actions.
• Liaise with internal supervisors, external auditors, and consultants to support informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• Educational background in accounting or finance.
• Significant experience in internal control, financial reporting, and accounting analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and propose solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
