Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical systems for commercial and residential projects. The role involves delivering HVAC, plumbing, and fire‑protection solutions that meet performance, safety and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems for commercial and residential buildings.
• Perform technical calculations such as load analysis, equipment sizing and energy modelling.
• Create detailed mechanical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines and project managers to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Provide on‑site technical support during construction, including inspections and responding to RFIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in mechanical design for residential and commercial buildings.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and mechanical design principles.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (computer‑aided design).
• Technical calculations (load analysis, equipment sizing, energy analysis).
