Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will plan and oversee application support and internal TLL projects, ensuring delivery within defined time, scope and budget. The role is based in the Development Centre of Excellence in Cairo, Egypt, and works closely with internal teams and Microsoft product engineering groups.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed project plans, monitor progress and manage resources from initiation to closure.
• Manage budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the single point of contact for assigned projects, communicating status to internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with business areas to scope needs, identify pain points, define quick wins and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
• Coordinate internal resources, schedule meetings, prepare presentations and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• 8+ years of project management experience, preferably on high‑impact internal and application support projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, Project Management or a related field.
• Proven experience working in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Strong organisational skills, able to work independently on multiple projects without detailed guidance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities, with strong English proficiency.
