Senior Projects Control Engineer

About the role

ecoSAS International is looking for a Senior Projects Control Engineer to join its Engineering and Project Management team in Heliopolis, Cairo. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, monitoring and controlling project performance to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain project master schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS) and resource‑loaded schedules.
• Monitor progress, compare planned vs. actual performance and analyse schedule deviations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S‑curves and KPI reports.
• Monitor project costs, analyse cost and schedule variances and support cost‑control activities.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis, including SPI, CPI and performance forecasting.
• Coordinate with project managers, technical office, site engineers, procurement and other stakeholders.
• Identify schedule and cost risks, support mitigation plans and review contractors’ schedules.
• Assist in claims analysis, extension of time assessments and variation impact evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contract requirements and project control standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.
• 7–10 years of proven experience in project controls, planning and scheduling for construction or MEP projects.
• Strong expertise with Primavera P6 (mandatory).
• Solid knowledge of project planning, cost control, Earned Value Management and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office tools.
