Senior Purchasing Specialist – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Purchasing Specialist to join our construction team in Egypt. The role focuses on securing materials and services for large‑scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost‑effectiveness while working directly on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies for construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve best value.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate logistics to guarantee on‑time material delivery to construction sites.
• Monitor market trends, analyse costs and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and generate reports using Microsoft Excel.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain within the construction sector.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced on‑site environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
