Senior Site Engineer

About the role

The Senior Site Engineer will lead daily site operations, ensuring that construction activities are executed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. You will supervise junior engineers and site supervisors while coordinating closely with quality, technical, and other trade teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site activities, supervising junior engineers and supervisors.
• Organise plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
• Enforce health, safety and sustainability policies on the construction site.
• Prepare daily status reports highlighting performance and obstacles.
• Coordinate inspections and tests with the Quality Control Department and implement corrective actions.
• Analyse zone drawings to determine material, equipment and man‑hour requirements.
• Work with the technical office to ensure correct implementation of shop drawings.
• Synchronise ongoing activities with other trades operating in the same area.
• Review shop drawings and as‑built documents from the technical office.
• Inspect subcontractor work and hand it over to QA/QC for final approval.
• Plan resources with junior engineers and supervisors to meet multiple deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site management and supervision of engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and sustainability regulations in construction.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and translate them into material and manpower plans.
• Experience coordinating with quality control, technical offices and multiple trade contractors.
