Senior Specification Engineer

About the role

The Senior Specification Engineer will provide technical guidance and support for all specification‑related activities across our construction projects. You will ensure that project specifications align with client requirements and comply with industry standards, contributing directly to project success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project specifications in line with client needs and industry standards.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to translate design intent into accurate technical specifications.
• Review and revise existing specification documents to maintain compliance with evolving regulations.
• Act as a technical resource on materials, methods, and specification applicability for project teams.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify adherence to specifications during construction.
• Lead training sessions and workshops for junior staff on best practices in specification writing and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in specification writing within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of national standards such as ASTM and ISO.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with strong analytical abilities.
