SEO Officer

About the role

The SEO Officer will lead the optimisation of Live Freight’s digital properties, improving online visibility and driving sustainable organic growth. You will develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to the shipping and logistics sector, analyse performance data, and provide actionable recommendations to boost traffic, engagement and conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement SEO strategies to improve organic rankings.
• Conduct keyword research specific to logistics and freight forwarding.
• Develop link‑building campaigns to increase domain authority.
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Produce monthly reports on traffic, keyword positions and user behaviour.
• Optimise on‑page elements such as titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links and image alt tags.
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, ensuring proper indexability and crawlability.
• Collaborate with content, marketing and development teams to align SEO with broader campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, IT or a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven SEO experience, preferably in logistics, shipping or B2B e‑commerce.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
