Service Engineer – Biomedical Devices

About the role

AMICO is seeking a Service Engineer to join its biomedical device team. You will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining medical equipment while providing training and technical support to customers across ophthalmology and dermatology specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Install medical devices at customer sites and verify proper operation.
• Inspect devices and spare parts upon receipt from suppliers.
• Train customers on safe and effective device usage.
• Provide warranty, service‑contract, and charged‑service support.
• Collect maintenance fees and manage service billing where applicable.
• Communicate service issues with suppliers under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensure all equipment remains in optimal working condition.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of maintenance management experience, preferably in ophthalmology or dermatology.
• Bilingual proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Maximum age of 30 years and personal vehicle ownership.
