Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Site Engineer to lead on‑site technical activities, supervise contractors and manage day‑to‑day operations for construction projects in Giza, Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main technical advisor on‑site, supervising contractors and managing daily operations.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes and safety regulations.
• Set out site layouts, perform surveying, verify drawings and ensure accurate technical application.
• Conduct regular inspections to confirm work meets building codes, structural designs and specifications.
• Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures to minimise delays, cost overruns and safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, change orders and quality‑control records.
• Analyse engineering plans, aerial photographs, blueprints, topographical and geological data to plan and execute construction tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
• 3–4 years of experience in the real‑estate or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of site execution and finishing works.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
