Software Engineer - FinTech (Remote)

About the role

We are hiring a Software Engineer for a leading financial platform, working remotely to design and build scalable backend services that power real‑time financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize backend services for financial transaction processing.
• Integrate third‑party financial APIs and payment gateways with cross‑functional teams.
• Implement robust security measures to meet financial regulations and data privacy standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.

Required profile

• Proven experience in backend development using Java, Python, or Go.
• Background with financial transaction systems, payment processing, or related domains.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to write unit and integration tests and work with CI/CD pipelines.
