Solar Site Engineer – Sudan Projects

About the role

ONA is looking for an experienced Solar Site Engineer based in Sudan to lead the execution, installation, and commissioning of solar PV projects across multiple locations. The role involves on‑site supervision, coordination with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and timeline requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage on‑site solar PV project execution.
• Coordinate activities with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Prepare site reports and track project progress.
• Enforce HSE requirements and company procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on‑site engineering support.

Required profile

• Currently residing in Sudan.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in solar PV projects.
• Proven experience in site supervision and project execution.
• Ability to travel within Sudan as needed.
