Storekeeper – Construction Site Materials Management

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Storekeeper to manage the storage and movement of materials on a construction site. The role ensures that all project material requirements are met while maintaining strict adherence to warehouse policies, health‑safety standards and inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Issue inventory, in/out status, dead‑stock, age and consumption reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Safeguard and store all items (materials, tools, equipment) according to specific storage instructions.
• Verify item balances by unit of measure and reconcile stock cards with Oracle ERP records.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization and prevent waste or damage.
• Receive a wide range of materials and distribute them to site warehouses.
• Execute warehouse procedures: receiving, issuing, returns, transfers.
• Prepare daily Material Receiving Report (MRR) and submit to Warehouse Supervisor and Project Manager.
• Generate daily low‑stock alerts and monthly inventory transaction reports.
• Ensure QC inspection of items before final acceptance.
• Enforce company HSE policies, risk assessments and environmental guidelines.
• Supervise warehouse assistants and labor performance, reporting twice yearly.
• Monitor slow‑moving, obsolete and expiring items and provide periodic reports.
• Follow warehouse policy and safety instructions.

Required profile

• BSc degree (any discipline).
• Minimum 3 years experience in a warehousing environment, preferably on construction projects.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work according to HSE regulations and company policies.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle ERP system for inventory management.
