Storekeeper – Construction Site Warehouse

About the role

The Storekeeper will manage the storage and movement of materials on a construction site, ensuring that project material requirements are met while following warehouse policies and procedures. This onsite position requires close coordination with project managers, supply chain teams, and site personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Issue daily inventory, in/out status, dead stock, age, and consumption reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate balances for all items (materials, tools, equipment) in stock cards and the Oracle ERP system.
• Oversee warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety, preventing waste or damage.
• Receive a wide range of materials, perform receiving, issuing, return, and transfer processes, and prepare Material Receiving Reports (MRR).
• Generate daily minimum‑stock alerts and monthly transaction summaries for each inventory category.
• Ensure QC inspection before final acceptance of items and enforce HSE policies.
• Supervise warehouse assistants, track performance, and report twice a year.
• Monitor slow‑moving, obsolete, and expiring items, providing periodic reports to the supervisor and project manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehousing environment, preferably on construction sites.
• Good command of English.
• Familiarity with HSE regulations and warehouse best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle ERP for inventory management.
