Stores Clerk – Inventory & Materials Management

About the role

The Stores Clerk will manage the flow of materials, supplies, tools and equipment for Rixos Premium Seagate, ensuring accurate receipt, storage and issue of items while supporting the hotel’s environmental and quality initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and stock materials against purchase orders or packing lists.
• Utilise a computerized purchasing and inventory control system for data entry, retrieval and tracking.
• Inspect items for damage or defects and record discrepancies.
• Maintain organized storage areas (bins, racks, shelves, floor or yard) and issue items with proper documentation.
• Track material usage, establish reorder points and assist in reconciling work‑order quantities.
• Perform weekly cycle counts, quarterly and annual physical inventories and prepare inventory reports.
• Review vendor information for registration and research duplicate or erroneous orders.
• Implement waste‑reduction, energy‑saving and chemical‑handling procedures in line with environmental policies.
• Support quality management system activities and any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with inventory management software and follow standard operating procedures.
• Good organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Awareness of health, safety and environmental regulations.
