Supplier Quality Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Supervisor to lead end‑to‑end supplier quality activities. Reporting to the GM office, you will ensure supplier performance, product compliance and timely resolution of quality issues across our manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor supplier KPIs (PPM, defect rates, SBR, QPR) and manage incoming quality concerns with immediate containment.
• Lead 8D investigations, perform root‑cause analysis using 5‑Why, Ishikawa and other tools, and verify corrective actions.
• Conduct supplier process audits (VDA 6.3, LPA, QMS) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage APQP deliverables, review and approve PPAP packages, control plans, PFMEA/DFMEA, process flows and capability studies.
• Evaluate and approve supplier change requests, perform risk assessments and coordinate re‑qualification.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing and warranty teams to resolve supplier‑related issues and support new model launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality or process engineering, preferably in automotive or high‑volume production.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex supplier projects.

Required skills

• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans.
• IATF 16949, ISO 9001 knowledge.
• Root‑cause analysis, 8D, DMAIC methodologies.
• Experience with SPPS, PRTS or equivalent issue‑tracking systems.
• Supplier audit standards: VDA 6.3, LPA, QMS audits.
• Capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and statistical analysis.
