System Administrator

About the role

The company is looking for a System Administrator to support and maintain its server infrastructure. You will work under senior team members to ensure reliable operation of Windows and Linux servers, backup systems, and virtual environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in administering Windows and Linux servers, including user account and Active Directory management.
• Perform routine server maintenance, monitoring, and documentation of configurations.
• Monitor backup jobs, conduct restore tests, and support disaster recovery exercises.
• Respond to server incidents, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems to senior staff.
• Apply security patches and updates to keep servers up‑to‑date.
• Support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and monitor virtual machine performance.
• Maintain accurate server documentation and configuration records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in system administration or IT support.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions, and communicate effectively.
