Technical Office Architectural Engineer

About the role

The Technical Office Architectural Engineer is responsible for managing quantity take‑offs, variation orders and technical documentation, ensuring that all drawings, calculations and reports meet engineering standards and project requirements. This role works closely with design, execution and project management teams to align documentation with on‑site realities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and calculate material quantities for Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and verify tender document accuracy.
• Prepare, follow up and document variation orders and scope changes.
• Coordinate with design, execution and project management teams to ensure alignment of drawings and quantities with site conditions.
• Review drawings from designers, contractors and suppliers for compliance with technical specifications.
• Modify drawings as needed based on site feedback or engineering consultant input.
• Ensure all drawings and calculations comply with company standards, approved engineering codes and project specifications.
• Prepare periodic technical reports documenting project changes and updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of practical experience in a technical office environment.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and construction codes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
