Technical Office Architectural Engineer (Remote)

About the role

The Technical Office Architectural Engineer will work remotely to support the planning, design, and coordination of construction and engineering projects. You will ensure that architectural shop drawings are accurate, collaborate with civil and electrical teams, and verify that quantities and specifications meet project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural shop drawings.
• Collaborate with civil and electrical engineering teams to ensure design integration.
• Validate quantities, specifications, and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Maintain compliance with relevant standards and project documentation.
• Provide technical support to project managers and site teams.
• Assist in cost estimation, measurement, and reporting for quantity surveying.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in technical office or design coordination within construction projects.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Effective communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.

Required skills

• Preparation and review of architectural shop drawings.
• Development and verification of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Familiarity with BIM tools (advantageous).
• Knowledge of quantity surveying, cost estimation, and reporting.
• Basic understanding of civil and electrical engineering concepts relevant to architectural coordination.
