Technical Office Engineer – HVAC Manufacturing

About the role

The Technical Office Engineer will join the HVAC Manufacturing team at Tanta Motors – Abou Freikha, based in Markaz Qowesna. Working on‑site, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and coordinating HVAC shop drawings and related documentation to support production and installation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review HVAC shop drawings in line with design specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Develop, verify and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for HVAC projects.
• Coordinate technical information with civil and electrical teams to ensure integrated solutions.
• Issue technical submittals, resolve design and site discrepancies, and provide technical support to production and installation crews.
• Monitor project progress from a technical office perspective, ensuring compliance with standards and contributing to cost and schedule optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline, preferably with an HVAC focus.
• Hands‑on experience preparing and reviewing BOQs and shop drawings.
• Basic knowledge of civil and electrical engineering to facilitate cross‑disciplinary coordination.
• Experience in quantity surveying, material take‑offs and cost estimation for HVAC works.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with effective written and verbal communication skills.
